Information Engine™ is an advanced data management, analytics and visualisation package. It was created by D2K to improve the ability to make water quality management decisions. Information Engine™ converts data derived from field sensors into user-relevant information with an interface that has been designed with the user in mind – it is both informative and elegant, allowing ‘at a glance’ understanding of monitoring outcomes with ‘drill down’ screens for those users who want to see the underlying information.

Information Engine: Specialist Modules
At D2K Information, we understand that a significant part of maintaining and improving water quality is empowering better monitoring and reporting of your Critical Control Points (CCP) present from catchment to consumer. That is why we developed CCPWatch®, our new approach to water security.
CCPWatch® is a specific tool created for system watching, improvement, and reporting which gives you and your regulator peace of mind. CCPWatch® provides actionable meaningful information and insights which help improve your compliance and system performance. As a result, CCPWatch® offers an excellent process performance line of sight for all water quality managers.
At D2K, we understand that a major part of maintaining and improving quality in any industry is empowering better audits and achieving more consistent auditing processes. That is why we developed AuditWatch®, an online platform that facilitates simpler planning, tracking and documenting of your auditing processes.
AuditWatch® is an optional component of D2K’s Information Engine suite of products. It provides the user with tailored checklists with a choice of grading systems depending on jurisdictional requirements. These electronic forms are designed to automate the capture of key information required to conduct and document an audit. It also includes a simple workflow for an audit process and a repository for audit documentation, delivering a much more robust process from start to finish.
In the transfer of ownership of a water stream, transparency of water quality information to both parties involved in the transaction is crucial to good governance, risk management and minimising contractual disputes.
HoPWatch™ tracks and reports on the water quality transaction, and helps to ensure that the interests of both supplier and receiver remain aligned by providing both parties with the same information at the same time.
HoPWatch™ does much more than tracking and reporting historical performance. It alerts the supplier and receiver to adverse events as they happen and provides warnings of imminent adverse events
Cyanobacteria (or blue‑green algae) are a common and naturally occurring component of most recreational water environments. They are of concern because some types produce toxins that pose a serious risk to public health.
The prevention and management of Harmful Algal Blooms
(HABs) while crucial, is also complex and requires significant technical expertise. The required expertise is not always available, particularly in smaller organisations with limited resources. That is why we developed AlgaeWatch®.
AlgaeWatch® is a module of D2K Information’s Information Engine™ platform.
Developed in collaboration with Jarvis Hunt Consultancy, AlgaeWatch® provides an automated interpretation of the detailed cyanobacterial monitoring data in line with the Guidelines for Managing Risks in Recreational Water (2008) (GMRRW), developed by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NH&MRC).
