The first system, launched in 2018, is the QualitEye®- DW, which is designed for monitoring water quality in the drinking water distribution system. It can be used to monitor drinking water quality anywhere from the final tank in the water treatment plant to the customer’s tap.
In the base system configuration, monitored water quality parameters are free chlorine, pH, ORP, conductivity, turbidity, temperature. The system also monitors line pressure and can accept the input from an external flowmeter. In addition, we offer several additional “plug-and-play” parameters including total chlorine, nitrate, colour, organics (several options), bacteria (E.coli, total coliforms, enterococci) and speciated trihalomethanes. The system also has control capability, so is ideally suited to being used for chlorine boosting and pH adjustment.
QualitEye® can be up and running and generating data quickly, but data is no use without it being turned into information. To compliment QualitEye®, we have designed a proprietary software package – Information Engine™.
